The Inuits were hunters. They used harpoons {types of spears} for hunting large animals. The Inuit groups lived on frozen tundras {also known as 'frozen deserts'} and ate raw fish. Most environments they lived on were harsh and many times below freezing. One of the Inuits most 'prized possessions' were 'dog' sleds. These sleds were useful in going over ice and soft snow. One of the customs of the Inuits were to tell stories.Sometimes they studied the stars. People today still use the stars for direction. All in all, the Inuits were people that did what they needed to do in order to survive. In fact, there are people like that today. They are called Eskimos.

  5. The Inuits were people who lived in far north enviornments, and traveled here from Asia. They hunted mostly whales, with harpoons and clubs, and Huskies were their priority for travel. I would imagine that looking at the stars was the most entertaining, since in the Arctic Circle, you can see the Aura Borealis.
