  1. I really liked the play yesterday. It was really funny how people got hit by the curtains and people dropping stuff. It was a pretty good play and the singing was great. My favorite musical number was "Greased Lightning." It was funny how no one can hear Steven's singing and all you saw was his funny dancing on the ghetto car. What I enjoyed the most about the show was how people kept failing to remember their lines and how things just looked funny. The funniest scene was the Hand Jive part. It was funny how Mr. V was dancing and how he was telling everyone to get out and Chris and Mr. Baiocco got mad. I also thought the way the Superintendent was dancing was hilarious. The show was not bad and they did a nice job to put the whole thing together. Congratulations Grease Cast!

  2. I enjoyed the show yesterday a lot. Since I am part of the cast and crew I benefit from seeing and knowing what happens behind the curtain. Everyone did a very good job remembering there lines and acting in front of the audience. I had a lot of fun helping out with the props and being in the prom scene. Being up there makes you very nervous so I congratulate all of the cast members who had the guts to go up and sing and act. My favorite musical was “We Go Together” because there was a lot of odd sound making and it sounded funny. Also, everybody was singing and dancing which made the stage look like everyone was having fun. My favorite dance was when we were supposed to be at prom and everyone was doing the Hand Jive. It was amusing because everyone was doing it at the same time and looked well choreographed. There were a couple mistakes but those mistakes made the musical funny, and people enjoyed it because they thought it was done on purpose. My favorite scene was when Mr. Vergara was doing his part at the prom scene and was dancing. He got really into his character and made it look really good. Congratulations to everybody and anyone who helped and was in the musical. It went very well.

  4. For Grease, I went to the Friday show at 7:00pm. And my reaction was... I don't know where to start. All I know is that there were a few mistakes if you ask some people (fellow students) and most of the audience laughed about it because some of them thought that it was on purpose. My favorite musical number was "We Go Together" by the whole Grease cast. I thought it was a great song and very catchy too (this song and the other Grease songs got stuck into my head the next morning). Other songs like "Those Magic Changes" by Doody "Freddy My Love" by Marty and "Greased Lightning" by Kenickie and the T - Birds were great - sounding too. The funniest part would probably be the what I call "The Comedy Curtain Call". I mean the curtains touching against the cast members made me laugh every time. My favorite "Curtain Call" was when Jan dropped the plastic cup as the curtains hit her. Sandy was later able to grab the cup from the stage and placed it at the middle where she sang "Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee Reprise". My favorite part of the play was Mr. Vergara (Vince Fontaine). He basically stole most of the show (I can't just leave all the credit to him. What about the other cast members?) He didn't really sing like the others, but he showed the confidence and showed his own style. That is what caught the audience's and my attention to him. Overall I thought the play was fantastic. Congratulations on the cast members and the ensemble members for your effort to put this together for our entertainment. Also congrats to the stage crew and the orchestra for the music and proper lighting. All who participated did a job well done!

  7. My Favorite Musical number was probably grease lighting. I really liked that song and it was cool how the audience sang too. The Thing I Enjoyed most about this show was probably the fails. I don't mean to be rude but the curtain always closed too early hit people multiple times. I thought that was kinda funny but besides that I really liked the Props like The car. It actually had real lights, which kind of amazed me. The Funniest scene in the whole show would probobly be when the curtain closed and hit Vani(no offense Vani). I was laughing a lot at that part because no one expected to get hit by the curtain which made it even more humorous.
That was a really good show and the price of the tickets was well worth it. I would like to see the show they come up with next year, I hope it will be as good as the one they came up with this year.

  8. First off, everybody did a spectacular job in puting Grease together, cast members, crew members, orchestra, and everyone else who put their effort into this play.My favorite musical number was "Grease Lightning" because all the guys were dancing in a awkward way,and it was funny of how nobody could not hear Steven sing. The thing that I enjoyed most about the show was when everybody started to get smacked with the curtain,it was so funny because some people got left behind.I also enjoyed the part where Jennifer started to beat up Steven, it actually looked like, that Jennifer really wanted to beat up Steven. The funniest scene in the show was when Mr.V,said "Do your parents know that I come to your house every night?",(stocker),to Ms.Hamiliton.I was dying when you said that, because it was hillarious. To conclude,I would advise others to come and watch,Grease.

  9. Since I was in the show, I had a chance to experience the making of the whole thing coming together. Throughout the whole experience of putting everything together and coming to rehearsals was very exciting. The week of the show was very nerve racking and intense because everyone one was nervous and couldn't wait for the show to finally come. The scene I enjoyed the most was the prom scene. Where everyone was with their partners doing the dances. I loved the part when Taylor said " Don't talk I'm trying to count!" I started to laugh myself because how she said it was so funny. My favorite musical part of the show was when Angeline and Aram sang " Your the One That I Want" and when Taylor sang " Those Magic Changes" but either way everyone did a terrific job. Also I would like to include that I personally enjoyed Saturday's show better, especially with the highlight of Mr.Vergara's son coming on stage and giving his dad flowers which Mr.Vergara gave to Neasha. Then Brody started dancing and it was all just so fun and adorable. Also I would like to mention that all the long hours of practice and rehearsing every scene over again actually payed off.

  10. In the play my favorite musical number occurred when Taylor was playing the guitar and singing. That was my favorite part because the song she was singing was fascinating I liked the beat to the song as well. In my opinion I think Taylor can sing because in the play she did an outstanding job. The part I enjoyed the most was when Chris was singing a song about mooning people. I enjoyed that because I have never heard anyone sing a song about that subject. Also he said that’s what he was known for and his favorite thing to do. I couldn’t imagine myself singing a song about mooning and not laugh while I was singing it. I thought Chris was going to embarrass himself but instead he impressed a lot of people especially me. The funniest part of the show was when Mr. V was talking to Neasha and telling her she looked cutie. The funniest line he said was “Do your parents know I come in to your room every night”. He also said that to Ms. Hamilton which was also very amusing. Overall everyone did an outstanding job in the play and they all should be interested in theater. I also think if they stick with this type of thing they will be very successful.

I was actually apart of Grease in which case was really fun at times. My favorite musical number in the show was " Those Magic Changes" sung by our very own Taylor Harris. I enjoyed the song because it was a catchy tune and was understandable. What I enjoyed most of the show was being part of it seeing all those lovely kids watching the show and liking it made me smile.(Especially Brody V.)The funniest scene was the prom scene.Hilarious.It made want to watch it again.Mr Rios was the highlight Lol.

  12. Personally, I enjoyed they play very much. I thought the whole experience was entertaining and it was really fun to watch my friends perform. My favorite musical number from the show was "You're The One That I Want." sang wonderfully by Angeline. I really think the show had a very talented cast and I can't wait for next year's performance. Something I thoroughly was entertained by was Mr. Vergara's portrayal of Vince Fontaine and his scenes. Although I thought all the scenes were great, I was just always hyped when Mr. Vergara came out. Overall, I enjoyed the vibe of the show the best. I felt comfortable and like I was just hanging out with my friends. I really loved seeing my friends in stage acting in a completely different and unexpected way. I couldn't stop smiling at different parts of the show and it was really worthwhile. All in all, I want to commend and congratulate all the performers on a spectacular job and I can't wait for another success next year.

  16. My favorite musical number in the Alexander hamiliton production of grease was "Those magic changes" sung by the most talented person I know Taylor Harris. The reason why I love the song so much is because of the way it flows when you sing it.What I enjoyed mostly about the show is the car it was so well put together and looked like you could really drive it in the street! And finally, the most funniest part of the show was when Vince Fontane ,Mr.Vergara, was being a nasty old man towards ,Marty,Neasha Shuler. The reason why I found it so funny is because it was so out of either one of thems charther.I cant wait for the next school production, maybe Grease 2!-Joi Tynes 3 period english

  17. My Favorite musical number was "Your The One I want".I enjoyed listening Angeline sing. I think she's talented and deserved the role she had. I also liked Vani's part, it was good and entertaining. i never knew vani was that good at acting. She did an incredibly job and Mr.Rios's part when he started singing was great. The funniest scene in the show was when Mr. Vergara told Ms. Hamilton "does your husband know that i come to your room every night"? I started laughing and everyone else did. Through out the show i was amused and happy seeing all my friends on set be apart of the show. I hope the show next year is as fantastic as this year!

  18.  Grease was one of the best plays I have ever been to. Like most of the plays I have been at or in they were all based on a movie or book like Carousel  or the Lottery. But this play was about a high school called Rydel where  a Greaser named Danny Zuko reunites with Sandy D. .  But Danny is afraid of what his friends will think of him. My favorite part of the play was when Sandy D. became an all out greaser and punched patty (sorry vani). The funniest part was when Vince Fountain said " Does your husband know I am in your room every night".

  19. The play Grease was very great show. My favorite musical number was Grease Lightning. I found the song being stuck in my head on Saturday because of it's catchy beat. My parts I really enjoyed during the show were the curtain fails. I do not mean to be rude, but it did make Adam and I laugh during the show. My favorite part had to be the scene at the movie drive in, it was funny when Danny kept on trying to kiss because one, he got his hand smashed by his girl and two, it looked pretty weird when you saw that big hair due sicking out of the car.In the end the show was great. It was well worth the tickets too. I can not wit until next years show.

  20. My favorite musical number was "Summer Lovin." I enjoyed listening to the song because it had feelings to it and it also had passion to the song! It was very beautiful to hear for a love song. The part that i liked in Grease was when you (Mr.Vergara) was talking to Neasha and flirting with each other...that was funny! Also, when you came out everyone was cheering for you, so was I. The funniest part was when Taylor was counting the steps when she was dancing with the girl. Taylor was awsome playing that part. I thought people really enjoyed it and I thought it was delightful. I would of scene it twice if I had the chance to.

I had such a great time being apart of the cast of Grease! We really worked our butts off these past months and I cant wait till next year's show.My favorite part was Beautey School Dropout for two reasons, one because I sang!!!! and two because I really loved being an angel. When I got the role of Sonny in the play I tought it was going to be really hard playing a boy,but it was kinda easy and fun! We had ALOT of laughs back stage especilly Taylor. Taylor was the comedy off stage. It was very funny to see my rock music loving english teacher hit the stage!(great job mr.v you got rythem!).I tought it was so cute how Mr.V's son Brody came up on stage and gave him flowers!!!(too cute). It was a great expirence and I would like to congradulate every cast and crew member.

  22. In my opinion I thought the play was great. My favorite musical number was "Grease Lighting." It was a catchy song and it is the only musical number i know so nobody is gonna help me there. My favorite part of the show were all the fails. Or course the play wasn't going to be perfect, but it did make the audience laugh. The funniest part of the play was when Mr. Vergara says, " Do your parents know I go in your room every night." After i finish laughing, I say to myself "Wow this guys could say it in front of his own boss, he's cool." I really enjoyed the show and hope the play next year is a lot more humorous.

  23. Being in AHHS' production of Grease took a lot of work and time. Of course, it will always be a memorable experience. I've been in many other productions, but never with any of my friends. My favorite musical productions were "Those Magic Changes" and "Freddy My Love." Those were my two favorite songs in the play. And Taylor and Neasha did really well singing them. The harmonies and background vocals went really well with them as well. The thing I enjoyed most about the show was being in it! But, the funniest scene was the prom scene. Mr. Vergara was the highlight to that scene, and Taylor's line lightened it as well.

  27. My favorite musical number in the show was "Grease Lightning" because I was suprised by the singing. I enjoyed when people got hit by the curtains and when yoou said your parts. It was very funny. MY favorite part of the show was when you told the seventh grader and Ms.Hamilton about you going into their rooms. It was funny .

  28. My favorite part of being in the production of Grease was the improvs. The funniest one was in the last scene, when Sandy must have been behind on get into her final costume, Mya (Sonny) and the other T-birds improvised by criticizing Danny's outfit. In the end, a fight broke out, I almost began to laugh on stage. My all-time favorite musical number was "Those Magic Changes", that Taylor sang. Before the show everyone would sing the song, Taylor on the other hand, didn't really like singing it as much as we did. The funniest scene in the play was when we did "Beauty School Dropout".
You have to agree the wigs were crazy!

  30. I think the bests parts of the play was when they sang that song about the car Grease Lighting. I also like the part when they went to the party cause it was realy funny. One of the funny parts was when Mr.Rios fell and he was elvis. Angelin sang real good well every one sang real good. The car was good but it would of look better if it was black. I like how the people were geting hit by the curtins. It was funny how you told Mrs.Hamilton that if her husbon knew that you go in her room at night. The set was real color fall it was set up real good there was a lot of space to dance and do all the thing that the charactors had to do.

  31. Being a part of the stage crew made the experience better it felt like being part of an inside joke. I knew when someone messed up. Being in the audience some times you dont realize unless its a big mistake. The funniest part to me was the prom scene for two reasons. Mr. Rios was hillarious on the microphone. Also because Mr.Vergera's scene with Neasha. Another reason i am happy i got to participate in the play is because a lot of peope didnt notice but Mr. Vergera messed up the dance moves so many times. I liked most about the play that everyone just had fun on stage, people were laughing and though they were nervous it turned out really well. My favorite musical performance was mooning because it was funny and Heather has a beautiful voice. The play was great and being part of it made it better and i think that next year more people should get involved and if thier not they should go see it.

  32. I really enjoyed the grease performance overall.
MY favorite musical number in the show was "Greased Lightning" because I thought the car was well done "realistic". In the show, the part
I enjoyed the most was when vani got munched in the face by Angeline. To me the funniest part of the play was when Mr.Vergara started to flirt with Neasha. It was a great experience being at the play and I don't regret any part of it.

  34. I thought that the show was very good. What I liked the most about the play was that every body had a great fun. What I also liked was that the curtains were hiting almost every body. I also liked when Mr.Vergara came on the stage and got every body happy and exited. I was also looking forward fir Mr.Vergara to messing up at least 4 or six line in the play.
