Like many considerable people, Sonia Sotomayor is the first Hispanic woman to be nominated to the Supreme Court of the United States. The Bronx-born Puerto Rican is an embodiment of the American Dream, working hard since childhood to rise from poverty to wealth and influence. She got to where she is now by working hard every single day, and looking forward to her future with the help of her mother, Celina (Baez) Sotomayor. However, her nomination is not without controversy. Many citizens, especially white Americans disagreed to have a Hispanic in the government, as they were still trying to adjust to our first black president, President Barack Obama. She became an inspiration and a role model to many Hispanics around the world and to me.

He has experienced many historic situations on his journey throughout Latin America and other parts of the world. Ernesto was mostly known for his hard work in Latin America and how much he has benefited them.
Fighting during World War 2 was a dangerous,risky,and hostile job for a host of people,but not for some people.The Tuskegee Airmen,America's first black military airmen,were mostly known for their brave,courageous,and fearless acts.Their wonderful actions that they gave towards World War 2,made a huge impact in the world.
Our country had many great heroes during the Second World War. One man who stood apart from the rest was our fearless leader Franklin Delano Roosevelt. President Rossevelt helped lead us battle and positioned the United States for victory.
Many children growing up have difficulties with realationships with their parents because they have a much larger family , and its difficult to understand that its extreamly hard for 2 parents to give all their attention to one child , some get lost in the situation and have a break down but more wiser childer plan to put that besides and teach them selves those kids get far in life and plan to go beyond further than what theyre aiming for , most of the kide who patentialy get lost in this "situation" lose focus in school. Sandra Cisneros is one of those people she was self taught but got further than many of us would have the guts to even try. Many ordinary people can be capable of great things beyond their imagination.Muhammad Ali(Cassius Marcellus Clay)was one of those many people.The boxer seemed to pick up his talent in junior high.He therefore went on to turning pro,and winning numerous fights upon doing so.He proceeded to win the title of Heayweight Champion by beating Sonny Liston in a nail-biting seven rounds.Cassius went on to change his religionto muslim(black muslim) and changed his name to Muhammad Ali.
